Penman in 1892 and they were married on September 12, 1893. They took up residence in Red Cloud and on October 04, 1895 a daughter, Lea was born. They remained in Red Cloud until 1905, where they moved to Denver, Colorado. Thomas was a jeweler by trade and he could make a better living in Denver where there was more money.
