Frank Thomas Neff was born November 24, 1854 to Daniel and Maria (Thomas) Neff in Big Grove Twp, Kendall
County, Illinois. He was educated in the elementary schools in
Kendall County and attended high school in
Newark, Illinois and afterwards for three years, was a student at the
Fowler Institute. In 1874, he enrolled
at the Chicago College of Pharmacy and in 1876 started his business in
Rantoul, Champaign County, Illinois.
Frank moved to Marseilles Illinois in February of 1877, where he continued his pharmacy business until October
of 1883. On January 08, 1884 he was elected Director and Cashier of the First National Bank of Marseilles, a
position that he still currently holds at this time in
Frank T. Neff has held the position of City Treasurer of Marseilles for several years and is now serving as the
Township Treasurer of Schools and also holds several other offices of trust in Marseilles.
In the Masonic fraternity, he has attained the Knights Templar degree and is identified with the Marseilles
Lodge #417, A. F. & A. M., Shabbona Chapter, No. 37, Royal Arch Masons of Ottawa and Ottawa Commandery,
No. 10, K. T. of Ottawa, Illinois.
Frank married
Miss Corintha Brundage on February 19, 1879 in Marseilles, Illinois. Corintha is the daughter of
the late
Milton Brundage and Ann E. (Parker) Brundage. Ann is now the wife of George E. Wheeler and they are
now (1900), residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A daughter Dorothy was born in 1902. Frank's wife, Corintha died in 1906 and Frank continued to live in
Marseilles until sometime around 1920, when he moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin, residing there in 1930.

George E. Wheeler came to Marseilles, Illinois in late 1877. He met Ann E. (Parker) Brundage, she being the
widow of Milton Brundage and they were married November 27, 1878 in Marseilles, Illinois. In
1880 they were
living in Marseilles with George operating a drug store. Sometime after 1880, George and Anne moved to
Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. George was involved in real estate sales and died July 29, 1904.
His wife, Annie died
December 10, 1920, also in Minneapolis. Both are buried at Lakewood Cemetery.
